All LightWiz^TM AES units are designed to be fail-safe i.e. they will safely and automatically by-pass to allow the incoming AC mains to directly provide full power to the lighting load when it fails. This means that the lights will not be interrupted by a LightWiz^TM AES failure. The faulty LightWiz^TM AES unit can then be repaired or replaced at a convenient time when the lighting circuits can be powered down.
