Upon power up, a LightWizTM AES supplies full mains voltage to the lamps for ignition (i.e. ‘striking’). The unit allows a short time delay period for the lamp to warm-up before switching to a lower energy saving voltage. LightWizTM AES has many advanced and innovative features that are very useful for clients. For example, it allows user the freedom to select one or more saving levels for operation from a range of saving levels. Combined with LightWizTM AES optional comprehensive timer operation support, they provide users with great flexibility in energy saving. LightWizTM AES reduces the user selected load output voltage (i.e. corresponding saving level) by way of proprietary technology electronically step-down voltages on its efficient toroidal transformer. During operation, LightWizTM AES actively monitors the output current and mains voltage. When additional lights within the circuits are switched on, LightWizTM AES will immediately revert back to the full mains voltage to allow the additional lights to ignite properly and wait out for the necessary warm up delay before returning to the last energy saving state. LightWizTM AES has a front panel status indicator light to indicate operation status. It is also able to detect and perform a by-pass immediately on mains over voltage, mains under voltage and over current load conditions. Once the conditions are stabilized, LightWizTM AES will return back to the last state of normal operation. |
